While you thought that most multilevel marketing (MLM) campaigns only dealt with nutrition or weight loss products and other related items, there’s actually one that offers a range of dental and health care plans for prospective clients. Ameriplan Corporation is a discount medical plan organization, which is probably the largest discounted fee-for-services program in the United States today, and has allowed millions of members to save money on supplemental health care benefits.

Here’s an unbiased and concise Ameriplan review for prospective members and clients.

They’re Called the Premiere Discount Medical Plan Provider in the US

Founded by twin brothers Dennis and Daniel Bloom in 1992, the company is touted to be the largest discount medical plan company in the United States, operating in all 50 states except Alaska, and has more than 55,000 Dealers or Independent Business Owners (IBO), who promote their medical and health plans.

The twin brothers initially wanted to create a discount dental plan; however the business grew and now provides an Individual Dental, Basic Wellness and Total Health Plus plans, among others.   The Individual Dental Plan covers dental treatment, vision care, prescriptions chiropractic services, and starts at $14.95 per month.  The Dental Plus plan covers the subscriber’s entire household, and includes dental, vision and chiropractic services as well as prescription.

The Basic Wellness Plan covers dental, vision and hearing services, as well as a Nurse line, and goes for $14.95 per month.  The Total Health Plus Plan is a more comprehensive package, which goes for $59.95 a month, and includes services such as dental, vision, physician care, ancillary services, hospital advocacy, nurse line, theft assistance and legal services.

How The Program Functions?

If a person wants to sign up for the company’s discount health and dental plans, he or she must first locate a service provider in their area, and contact the representative for an appointment. Next, the member is referred to an accredited dentist, and should bring his/her Ameriplan membership card.

At the end of the consultation, the member then pays the dentist or doctor a discounted consultation or service fee.  As its individual members pay from $11.95 to $19.95 a month, they in turn get around 80% off in discounts from the dental or health care services they avail of. The discount health plan provider has recently added free eye care services and a pharmaceutical program, and also plans to include a low-priced chiropractic service.

How Do You Join It’s Business Opportunity Plan?

According to their official web site, to who wish to become Independent Business Owners (IBO) will need to pay $50 as membership dues, as well as pay $50 per month, so that they will have access to the company’s Business Benefits Package, which will give them the tools needed for successfully running their business.

IBO’s will also have access to programs and services which offer them discounts for dining, automotive, recreation and shopping activities.  They also get access to the company’s training web site, where members will receive the Ameriplan e-kit, which covers all training resources and tools to help them manage their business.

Now, if you will ask me whether the company offers viable business opportunity plan, then my answer is yes.  However, some argue that the company’s business plan is too complex, and the chances of succeeding are quite minimal, since there are plenty of individual brokers to compete with, and some pharmacies and doctors do not wish to be covered or represented by these types of organizations.  To succeed in this venture, all you need to do is thoroughly study their system, get information from other Ameriplan reviews and forums, and ask friends or family if they know a thing or two about the company.
